Baltimore 1927 - p. 56 "Dr. David L. Talbott ( ) believed that the Miles
family immigrated to Calvert Co. from Wales; that Thomas and Ruth
Miles left behind them their daughter Sarah, who had been adopted by a
materanl maiden aunt; that Sarah, after reaching womanhood, paid a visit
to her family in Maryland, but having experienced a severe storm and
being nearly shipwrecked, refused to return to her home; married, in
1723, Samuel Plummer, and bore him twelve children; that the Welsh
aunt forgave her, and eventually bequeathed to her all her property
(Letter to Capt. John T. Talbott, 28 Mar., 1880)"
