! Obit. (from Tribune): "Ellen Jane Fry, was born near Lancaster, Pa.,
April 10th, 1836. She was called to her heavenly home . . . Nov. 23, 1908
. . . res. Ansonia, Oh. Her father and mother, Matthew and Sarah Guy, were
among the early pioneers who came westward when she was but a child,
and settled in Ohio, first in Preble county and then in Darke county . . .
Seven children three sons and four daughters. . . Two of the daughters
died early in life . . . A stroke of paralysis about a year ago greatly
weakened her and when the shock of the sudden death of her sister, Mrs.
Sadie Smith, came she was soon taken ill, death occuring one week
later."
Note -- Sarah A. Smith died Nov. 13, her sisters Ellen Fry and Margaret
Weaver both died Nov. 23, 1908, 10 days later -- H. S.

! Plummer Family of Maryland and Indiana Quakers - lived in Wash. Co.,
Ky. in 1819 got power of atty., went to Md. and became heir in law of his
Uncle William Wells of Pr. George Co., Md. 17 Feb., 1826 Mordeciah gave a
deal to William Wells and wife for PLummers Pleasure estate and other
property in Pr. George Co., Md. Margary Lyles wife of Mordeciah
relinquished her right of dower.
! "Across the Years in Prince George's County" p. 578 "...the following
indentures bear out the tradition that a later Mordecai PLummer came to
Maryland at the invitation of his uncle, William Wells, of George, who
made him his heir-at-law. The Mordecai in question seems to have been
a son of Abiezer and Susanne, who in 1819 or 20 were living in Ky.
On March 11th, 1820, Abiezer Plummer and Susanna Wells PLummer, his
wife, of Wash. Co., Ky. give to their trust friend, Mordecai PLummer,
power of attorney, in fact, to transact in their names . . . " THUS IS
APPEAR MORDECAI IS NOT THE SON OF ABIEZER AND SUSANNE PLUMMER
