of first Y.M.C.A. in London in 1844. Instrumental in founding of Elgin
Y.M.C.A. Early worker in Elgin National Watch factory, superintendent of
gilding department. Member of Monitor Lodge, No. 522, A.F and A.M.
Leaves a brother Harry Fairchild and a sister Mrs William Cooney, of
Rockford Il. Leaves six grandchildren (1917), Landborg (3), Canfield (1),
Ober (1), Where is 6th (stepson's child)? Could Lois Ober's 2nd child
