According to Vic Abell's data, Samuel Abell II married Winifred Hall, who died
in 1754. It is possible that this was a second marriage. Both Vic's data and
Sr. Donnelly's data list the four children listed in this marriage.

!WILL: Received from Whitehouse Information Center, 63 The Ridgeway, Sutton,
Surrey SM2 5JX. "When Isaac Whithouse of Gravelly Hill, Aston, manufacturer,
died in 1799, aged 77, he left a will (my Ref E20) in which he appointed his so
Isaac and his son in law Thomas Parkes as executors and mentioned in the will
his children, Mary Parkes, Elizabeth Bishop, John Whitehouse, Edmund Whitehouse
Rebecca Tinimore and Anne Wilkinson. This fits the marriage of Isaac
Whitehouse to Anne Nichols 20 Apr 1747, St. Phillips"

Subject: WHITEHOUSE
Linda - Thanks. I've given you the above reference and noted that you are
a cousin of Jonathan Paul, with whom you exchanged E-mails in November
1997. His ref. is 195P. I do not have a match to anyone else.
I don't know whether Jonathan sent you a copy of my letter to him of 18th
February 1996, with paper enclosures. I will summarise it. Isaac WHITEHOUSE
was buried 9th June 1799 at Aston, Warwickshire, aged 77. He left a will. I
do not have a copy, but I did extract it for genalogical information.
Testator: WHITEHOUSE, Isaac, of Gravelly Hill, Aston, Manufacturer
Will made 2nd June 1799 Probate 12th November 1799, Bishop's Court, Diocese of
Lichfield K.P. ref E20 Persons mentioned in will:
1. Isaac WHITEHOUSE ("eldest son"), son, executor
2. Mary PARKES, dau
3. Elizabeth BISHOP, dau
4. John WHITEHOUSE, son
5. Edmund WHITEHOUSE, son
6. Rebecca TINIMORE, dau (note - will misread or is in error: should be
FINNEMORE)
7. Ann WILKINSON, dau
8. Thomas PARKES, son in law, executor
9. William FOWLER, witness
10. John TURNER, witness
11. Joseph PICKIN, witness
Property mentioned in will:
4 houses in Suffolk St. (to be sold within 3 months of testator's death)
IGI search shows beyond reasonable doubt that this testator Isaac married
Ann, probably Ann NICHOLLS 20 Apr 1747, Birmingham St. Phillips.
Jonathan is descended from the PARKES branch.
John WHITEHOUSE is probably the son baptised 24 Apr 1752 (as "Jno.") at
Aston. What happened to him I don't know and if you have a tree, as your e-mail
seems to suggest, I'd be glad to have it. If Robert WHITEHOUSE is a son of John
then he would not have been baptised much before 1770. Jonathan has already
searched and has said it would be in USA. If Robert married in 1791, then
there is a pretty tight time window for his birth. Too much before 1770 would
make John a parent at less than 18 and too much after 1770 would make Robert a
bit young for marrying. The probable range, set at age 17, is therefore 1769 t
1773. I will re-check.
